Job Description: AI Developer Intern

We are a data and AI consultancy start-up with a global client base, headquartered in London UK, and we are looking for someone to join us full time on-site in our vibrant office in Gurugram.

As an AI Developer at Uptitude, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI models and solutions across a wide range of use cases. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure models are well-integrated, explainable, and scalable.
We are looking for a candidate who is not only technically skilled but also creative, curious, and excited about pushing the boundaries of AI in real-world business environments.

Requirements: (0–1 year of experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • 0–1 year of experience in AI/ML development or relevant projects (internships count).
  • Familiarity with Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Basic understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning and transformer-based models.
  • Awareness of data preparation, feature engineering, and prompt engineering for LLMs.
  • Exposure to LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI), RAG pipelines and vector databases.
  • Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
  • Basic understanding of AI agents, tool calling, and agentic workflows.
  • Exposure to tools like Jupyter, Git, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Role based in Gurugram, India
